2012:  SEVEN, A NEW MODERN ART LOUNGE IN SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA TO SHOWCASE ART BY STEVE KAUFMAN

UPDATE -- October 22, 2012 / Scottsdale, Arizona -- Ray Williams, owner of Seven Modern Art Lounge, has launched his new website at: http://www.sevenartlounge.com.  Please visit his website and exhibition of Steve Kaufman artwork.

August 24, 2012 / Scottsdale, Arizona -- American Pop Art, Inc., an online virtual art gallery at www.americanpopartinc.com exclusively dedicated to Steve Kaufman art, is proud to announce the grand opening of Seven, a new modern art lounge in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona, on Saturday, September 1, 2012, featuring a permanent display of art by the late Steve Kaufman.

Ray Williams, a colleague and dedicated customer of American Pop Art, Inc., is an avid collector of Steve Kaufman art and a skilled mountain climber. What would someone who has trekked Mount Everest five times do to pursue his passion for art? Ray Williams decided to open his own art gallery named Seven, a modern art lounge with a special museum section set aside to showcase his personal collection of pop art by Steve Kaufman.

Seven art lounge is located in downtown Scottsdale’s growing Marshall Way arts district. Ray Williams will sell art by Peter Max, Keith Haring, Dutch artist Karel Appel, Armenian artist Eduard Edigaryan, abstract expressionist Ray Parker, local artists Jason Ian Harper and Daniel Torrez, and more. Jason Ian Harper specializes in surrealism art. Daniel Torrez, who focuses on old masters style, was recently commissioned for the 2012 Centennial painting for the Arizona State University Downtown Library.

"Yesterday I met the presidents for the Scottsdale Arts Association and the president of the Marshall Way Art Association,” Ray Williams said. “The street is the prime Scottsdale site for Modern art and Main Street for western art, so I am in the perfect spot.”

“I am thrilled that Ray Williams will be exhibiting Steve Kaufman art as a museum section. We thank him and look forward to visiting his gallery,” said Diana Vachier, owner of American Pop Art, Inc. Steve Kaufman is remembered as a charismatic American pop artist and a generous humanitarian.

Seven modern art lounge is located at 4151 N. Marshall Way, Suite 7, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251. The Kaufman works at Seven will be for display only and not for sale. For more information about Seven modern art lounge, please contact Ray Williams at 602-758-1479, or email jetsteray@cox.net.
