Steve Kaufman - Icon Art
American Pop Art
Among Steve Kaufman's more recognizable images were Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Al Pacino, Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay), President Barack Obama, Jay Leno, John Travolta, mobster John Gotti, Beethoven, Napoleon and such icons of Americana as the $100 bill, Coca-Cola images and Campbell's Soups art.
Steve Kaufman is photographed here with Muhammad Ali. The 1995 Olympic Series painting below, "The Greatest, Muhammad Ali" is very rare, as it is hand signed by the famous boxer "Muhammad Ali a.k.a. Cassius Clay" on the front, with Steve Kaufman's signature on the back. As you may know, Muhammad Ali did not use the name Cassius Clay since he changed it in 1964, making this painting a collector's dream for anyone looking to acquire a Kaufman work signed by Muhammad Ali. The colors are very rich, making this an absolutely beautiful piece of art.
This painting is number 23 of an edition of 50 TPs, and it is in great condition.
